Hello Wine Lovers;
    
I developed a love of wines from around the world over the past 20 years.  I by no means am an expert in wines but enjoy trying different ones.  I created this website to get a worldwide viewpoint from those of you that are experts in wines and are either looking for other wines to try or want to share your experiences with others.

For each region I felt it necessary to break them down by Geography & Climate and Wines.  Giving the reader (you) an idea of the makeup of the land and its weather has a distinct effect on the growth of the vines and henceforth the taste of the grapes produced from those vines.
  
I have started out by referencing the Geography & Climate information from Wikipedia since I personally have never had the opportunity to travel to Italy and probably never will.  The information on wines comes from a very good website by the name of Wine Country.  As I have the opportunity to try the different wines I plan to write my review of them.  Please feel free to write reviews of Italian wines that you have tried and I will include them in the proper region since I doubt I will be able to taste test them all.

This site is by no means finished, but I was so excited to get this website published that I thought I would publish what I have.  I will be working and adding more regions in the next few weeks so please come back and visit.  There are 20 regions in Italy and they all produce superior wines.  I will do my best to cover a good portion if not all the wines this wonderful country produces.
